Hoa Khanh evangelical chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Da Nang city’s Lien Chieu district solemnly held on July 14 a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of its worshiping church.
The event saw the presence of Pastor Commissioner of the ECVN in charge of pastoral affairs in Quang Tri province Nguyễn Xuân Sanh, Pastor Nguyễn Hải Bằng, Chairman of the ECVN’s Representative Committee in the city, and members of the Chapter’s executive board.
In the complicated context of Covi-19 pandemic, the event has strictly observed preventive measures against Covid-19 pandemic guided by local authorities.
Hoa Khanh meeting place has been separated and re-established from Hoa My chapter in Lien Chieu district. In 2009, the meeting place has officially been granted the certificate of religious practices and guided by Pastor Nguyễn Bích Sơn.
For 11 years, followers in the meeting place have well conducted religious practices in accordance with the law. Based on practical needs of its followers, the city authorities have approved a proposal of the ECVN (South) for establishing Hoa Khanh evangelical chapter in 2019.
