Present at the event taking place at the Cultural Center in Phu Tho province included Senior Venerable Thích Minh Nghiêm, Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee in the province and dignitaries of the VBS chapter in the city.

Guests at the congress included Head of the municipal Steering Committee for Religious Affairs Đặng Trần Minh and representatives of concerning local authorities.

The one-day event reviewed its Buddhist affairs in the 2016-2021 term, mapped out key plans for the 2021-2026 tenure, and elected a new 27-member executive board of the VBS chapter in Viet Tri city with Senior Venerable Thích Minh Thuận re-elected as head of the Buddhist executive board.
