Government religious committee holds training on religious affairs for cadres in South region

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on December 3 a training conference fostering professional skills for key cadres tasked with belief and religious affairs in the South region.

Attending the training’s opening ceremony taking place at Ho Chi Minh city included Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Hoài Bắc, Vice Chairwoman of the GCRA Trần Thị Minh Nga, and over 150 local cadres tasked with belief and religious affairs in 16 provinces and cities of the South region.

This is the second training course organized by the Government’s Committee for Religious Affairs in 2025, aimed at enhancing the professional competence and practical capacity of officials and civil servants tasked with belief and religious affairs, in response to the ongoing restructuring of administrative units, the implementation of a two-tier local government model, as well as the reorganization of the advisory apparatus on religious affairs.

Overview of the training conference

The training conference taking place on December 3-5 covers key contents of state policies & laws on belief & religion in some countries, religious diplomacy, professional skills on religious affairs relating Catholicism, Buddhism, Protestantism and new religious phenomena in mountainous area, professional skills and communication work in the field of belief and religion.
