Buddhist temples in Tien Giang presents 1,000 sets of medicines to Covid-19 patients, 220 gift sets to disadvantaged pupils

The Lien Hoa Buddhist Recitation Temple located in Xuan Dong commune of Tien Giang province’s Cho Gao district presented 1,000 bags of Covid-19 medicines with the total value of 150 million VND to the district authorities during a ceremony held on November 28.

After the event, the district Fatherland Front Committee has distributed medical supplies to the steering boards for Covid-19 prevention of 18 communes and towns in the district.

On the same day, Nun Thích nữ Huệ Ánh, Abbess of Truong Phuoc pagoda located in Tan Huong commune of the province’s Chau Thanh district handed over 220 gift sets to disadvantaged pupils of Tan Huong Primary School in the locality. Each gift set contains food and stationeries worth 300,000 VND.
