Vietnamese Teachers’ Day marked in Buddhist School in Ben Tre

Monks and nuns of the 4th studying course (2021-2024) the Buddhist school in the southern province of Ben Tre held a solemn ceremony to celebrate the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day on November 20.

The event taking place in Vien Minh pagoda located in Ben Tre’s provincial city saw the presence of Venerable Thích Trung Hòa, Chairman of the Cultural Affairs of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Ben Tre cum Vice Rector of the Buddhist School; Venerable Thích Pháp Thông, Chairman of the Buddhist Guidance Board of the VBS Ben Tre cum secretary of the Buddhist School; and teachers of the school.

During the ceremony, monks and nuns studying at the Buddhist school extended congratulations and expressed their gratitude to leaders and teachers of the school for their devotion and contribution to the Buddhist education over the past years.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the ceremony celebrating the Teachers' Day was held with a modest scale and a strict implementation of preventive measures against the pandemic.
