VBS in Chau Thanh district presents sets of supports to blind people and Agent Orange victims

The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Board in Ben Tre province’s Chau Thanh district on November 13 presented 140 sets of supports to blind people and Agent Orange victims in the district.  

The presentation taking place at Phuoc Linh pagoda located in the Chau Thanh district’s Huu Dinh commune was held in collaborated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in the district.

As reported, 140 sets of supports have the total value of 70 million VND in total, which has successfully been raised by Senior Venerable Thích Thanh Mẫn, Member of the VBS’s Executive Committee in Ben Tre province cum Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Board in Chau Thanh district from sponsors in the country and overseas.

On the occasion, Vice Chairwoman of the VFF in the district Nguyễn Thị Thanh Thúy presented certificates of recommendation to two sponsors for their practical contributions in the locality.
