Vinh Trang Pagoda is located in Nguyen Trung Truc street, My Tho city of Tien Giang province. The pagoda is one of ancient pagodas in the Southern region and a famous tourism spot in the province.

Vinh Trang pagoda was built in the 19th century by Bui Cong Dat – a mandarin under King Minh Mạng’s period (1820-1840). In 1849, Most Venerable Thích Huệ Đăng rebuilt the pagoda and named it Vinh Truong Pagoda with a wish for the pagoda to exist for a long time.
