Tan Hoa Thanh parish under the Vietnam Caodai (Binh Duc) Church in Tan Phuoc district, Tien Giang province held its 2nd Humanity Congress for 2015-2020 tenure on March 26.
Attending this event were Archbishop Lê Văn Tròn, Chairman of the Vietnam Caodai Church’s Management Committee, representatives from the Management Board of the Church’s parishes and about 200 followers.
Local guests at the congress included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Văn Khuê and representatives from local authorities.
At the congress, the delegates discussed on the final draft report of religious activities by Tan Hoa Thanh parish during 2010-2015 period, approved the parish’s working plans in the next tenure, and commented on the draft amendments to the Church’s Charter.
The congress also elected the new 15-member of Management Board with Bishop Nguyễn Văn Đực as its Head and nominated delegates to attend the General Humanity Congress.
