Attending the congress were Most Venerable Thích Khế Chơn, Standing Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue provincial VBS’s Executive Committee, and  large numbers of monks, nuns and followers in the district.

Vice - Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Hồ Ngọc Chương was among local authorities’ representatives at the event.

The congress elected 27 members to the new-term Executive Board of the district VBS with Venerable Thích Thế Thanh reelected as the Board Chairman./.
