The Hoa Hao Buddhism’s Executive Committee held on April 29 the graduation ceremony of the 3rd basic tenet course at An Hoa temple located in Phu My town of An Giang province’s Phu Tan district.
The 2015-2017 tenet course of Hoa Hao Buddhist covered basic religious tenets and practices of Hoa Hao Buddhism. After three-year course, 53 out of 74 course participants have been qualified for graduation.
According to regulations of the Hoa Hao Buddhist church, graduation of tenets courses is a prerequisite for Hoa Hao Buddhists to be nominated as catechists for teaching religious tenets of Hoa Hao Buddhism and deacons of executive bodies of Hoa Hao Buddhism at all levels.
