On August 31st, 2014, at Chau Minh Holy See (Chanh Dong village, Tien Thuy commune, Chau Thanh district, Ben Tre province), the Ante- Creation Caodai Church held an opening ceremony of a training course for Priests and Student Priests.
Attending the opening ceremony were Principal Archbishop Thượng Bảy Thanh, Head of the Church’s Standing Committee; Principal Archbishop Ngọc Huyện Thanh, Deputy Head of the Church’s Standing Committee and 150 participants from 16 provinces and cities. Local guests at the opening ceremony included representatives from provincial Party Committee’s Board for Mass Mobilization, provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Ben Tre provincial Committee for Religious Affairs.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Võ Văn Hai, Head of Religion Division, Ben Tre’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee highly approciated moral and cultutal values of Caodaism and fine traditions of the Ante- Creation Caodai Church.
The training course for Priests, Student Priests aimed at fostering knowledge on religious doctrine and canon law, as well as understanding of State laws on religion./.
