Tri Binh Caodai parish in Chau Thanh district solemnly held a ceremony to inaugurate its new Mother Buddha worshipping temple on January 2, 2015.
Attending the ceremony were Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh, Head of the Caodai Tay Ninh Church; representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and local authorities; and about 1,000 followers inside and outside Tay Ninh province.
Tri Binh parish was established in early 1960s, but without a temple for worshipping the Mother Buddha until recently. The construction of its first Mother Buddha worshipping temple was started in May 2010 and completed in late 2014.
This Mother Buddha worshipping temple was built with supports of Caodai followers in the locality.
