Minister of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Ministry Đào Ngọc Dung chaired on March 3 a meeting for formally appointing heads of the newly established ministry’s units and the Party committee.

Present at the event included Deputy Ministers of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Y Vinh Tơr, Y Thông, Nông Thị Hà and Nguyễn Hải Trung, and officials and staff of the ministry’s units.
During the gathering, Deputy Minister Nguyễn Hải Trung handed over appointment decisions to Chairman of the ministry’s Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Hoài Bắc, Vice Chairwoman of the GCRA Trần Thị Minh Nga and Vice Chairman of the GCRA Nguyễn Tiến Trọng. The appointment decisions is effective from March 1, 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, while extending congratulations to the newly appointed heads of the ministry’s units, Minister Đào Ngọc Dung highlighted the important role of ethnic and religious affairs in the country. The minister asked ministry’s units to immediately take action, implementing the motto of innovation and creativity, adhering to the principal of no overlapping and missing of work, with only one unit in charge of each task, in order to effectively carry out assigned objectives.
The ethnic and religious affairs minister also expressed hope that all of ministry’s officials and staff would be continue promoting solidarity and making efforts in service of ethnic and religious people.
