Thanh Long Caodai parish in Chau Thanh district, Tay Ninh province solemnly inaugurated its new Mother Buddha worshipping temple at a ceremony held on April 30.
Attending the ceremony were Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh, President of the Caodai Tay Ninh Church’s Upper Council; representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and local authorities; and about 1,000 followers inside and outside Tay Ninh province.
Thanh Long parish was established in 1963, but without a worshipping facility for worshipping of the Mother Buddha. The construction of its first Mother Buddha worshipping temple was started in 2011 and completed after four years of construction./.
