The first Qur’an and Islam tenet training course was opened by Tay Ninh Muslim Representative Committee on November 22.
The opening ceremony took place at Nourul Ehsan Mosque, Tan Chau village, Tan Phu commune, Tan Chau district.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Trang Văn Hải, Deputy Director of Home Affairs Department cum Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs; Mr. Phạm Văn Chi, Head of the Ethnic Affairs Division and representatives from local authorities of Tan Chau district and Tan Phu commune.
Muslim Representatives at the opening ceremony included Mr. Haji Chàm Sá, Chairman of the Tay Ninh Muslim Representative Committee; Members of the Committee; dignitaries and nearly 500 people from Mosques in Ho Chi Minh city, Tay Ninh and Binh Duong provinces.
Registering the one-year Qur’an and Islam tenet course were 50 students of Cham Muslims.
