On December 5, Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh, President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Executive Committee led a delegation to attend a solemn ceremony for installing the worshipping symbol of Divine Eye in the oratory of Loc Ninh Caodai parish in Tay Ninh province’s Duong Minh Chau district.
Attending the event included Vice Chairman of Duong Minh Chau district’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Trần Văn Phú and Deputy Head of the district’s Home Affairs Division Nguyễn Hữu Ngãi, and about 600 Caodai followers and local people.
It’s reported that Loc Ninh parish, formerly part of Truong Mit parish, was established in 2006, and its first oratory was built by temporary materials. The parish started rebuilding its oratory in 2012 according to the Church’s fifth model of design. The worshipping facilities of the new oratory have basically been completed after nearly three years of construction.
