Tay Ninh Caodai Church appoints representative committee leader in Ca Mau province

Tay Ninh Caodai Church officially appointed its representative committee chairman in Ca Mau province at a solemn ceremony held on May 28.

Attending the ceremony were about 150 Caodai dignitaries and deacons from seven Tay Ninh Caodai parishes in Ca Mau province.

Local guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affair Ngô Hòa Dựa, representatives from the local authorities and other religious organizations of Hoa Hao Buddhism, Pure-Land Buddhist Association and Committee for Catholic Solidarity in Ca Mau province.

According to the Church’s appointment decision, Priest Thái Hiệp Thanh was selected as the new Chairman of the Representative Committee. Former Chairman of the Committee Priest Thượng Công Thanh was transferred and appointed as Chairman of the Church’s Representative Committee in Can Tho city.
