Tan Bac parish under Xuan Loc diocese located in Binh Minh commune of Dong Nai province’s Trang Bom district held on July 9 a program for presenting free food and necessities to disadvantaged people regardless of religion in the locality.
During the event, 2 tons of rice, 500 boxes of noodles and vegetables were delivered to families severely affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
Earlier, Priest Joseph Tạ Duy Tuyền, Head of Tan Bac parish also visited and presented gift sets to those tasked with the Covid-19 prevention and control at lockdown areas, and sent food supplies to Phu Hanh parish under Ho Chi Minh City Archdiocese before a strict social distancing was imposed in Ho Chi Minh city.
