Superior nun Thích nữ Như Giáo in Tra Vinh presents gift sets to local people affected by Covid-19 epidemic

Responding to a call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Tra Vinh province, monks, nuns and lay Buddhists in the province have made practical contributions for helping disadvantaged people who severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in the province.
In particular, Superior Nun Thích nữ Như Giáo, Abbess of Lien Tri pagoda located in Hoa Luc village of Cau Ngang district’s Hiep Hoa commune has proactively worked with lay Buddhists and sponsors for supporting poor locals.
Since April 27, 2021 now, Superior Nun Thích nữ Như Giáo has presented more than 600 gift sets containing food and necessities to disadvantaged people in the locality who severely affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
