Six-month Buddhist performances reviewed in ThuaThien Hue

The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in Thua Thien Hue province held on June 25 a meeting for reviewing its six-month performances.

The meeting was chaired by Most Venerable Member of the VBS’s Central Executive Council cum Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee in the province Thích Đức Thanh, and joint by large numbers of monks and nuns from the provincial VBS’s executive committee and executive boards in the province’s districts and cities, VBS’s subcommittee on Buddhist families, and management boards of worshipping places in the locality.

The meeting discussed results of Buddhist affairs of the provincial VBS executive committee in six months of 2021, and practical issues relating to the revised Charter of the VBS and the organization of the 7th provincial VBS congress for the 2022-2027 term in 2022, etc.
