Dong Nai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs has issued a dispatch requesting a close collaboration of religious organizations in the province in the implementation of anti - Covid-19 epidemic measures.
According to the dispatch, the provincial religious committee has highly appreciated practical responses and supports of religious organizations in the province for the Covid-19 epidemic prevention work last year.
The religious committee also noted that there are still several religious establishments organizing worshipping ceremonies with crowds of people, leading to the risk of Covid-19 infection in the community.
Therefore, the religious committee asked religious organizations to continue suspending festivals and worshipping practices with large gatherings, limiting the number of participants and strictly complying with the "5K" recommendation of the health sector for Covid-19 prevention in case of compulsory religious ceremonies, and promoting the organization of online worshipping ceremonies.
