Religious, belief worshipping places in Vinh Phuc join hands in Covid-19 pandemic fighting

In the complicated Covid-19 pandemic, especially Covid-19 cases related to a Christian church in Ho Chi Minh City, religious and belief worshipping places in Vinh Phuc have carried out measures for Covid-19 pandemic prevent to reduce risk of spreading the pandemic in the community.  

Provincial authorities have sent dispatches to the People’s Committee in districts requesting the strengthening of Covid-19 prevention measures in religious and belief worshipping places.

Through inspection, it was reported that religious places in Vinh Phuc have strictly implemented guidelines by local authorities and their central executive bodies

Many religious places have posted signs notifying the suspension of receiving guests, adjusted form and the scale of religious practices in order to both meet spiritual needs of religious followers and ensure the pandemic prevention in the community.

Most of local Catholics did not come for masses in churches on these days, instead they attended online masses and conducted prayers at home.

Religious and belief worshipping places have usually sprayed disinfectants at monasteries and carried out the 5K message, contributing to disease prevention for religious followers and the community.

Beside strictly implementing preventive measures against the pandemic, local religious places have also raised support for the COVID-19 Vaccine Fund of the Government and the movement “All people participate in supporting Covid-19 prevention and control” launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee.
