A ground-breaking ceremony for the reconstruction of the oratory of Thua Duc – Thoi Thuan parish under the Tay Ninh Caodai Church located in Ben Tre province’s Binh Dai district was held on September 3.
Attending the ceremony included Cardinal President of the Caodai church's executive committee Thượng Tám Thanh, Vice Chairman of the provincial committee for religious affairs Nguyễn Hồng Quân and over 1,000 Caodai followers from Ben Tre and other provinces.
As reported, Thua Duc – Thoi Thuan Caodai parish was established in 1935 and built its original oratory by temporary materials. The parish’s management board received in late 2017 approval from local authorities for rebuilding its oratory according to a model regulated by the Caodai church.
