Attending the congress were Most Venerable Chairman of Quang Ngai provincial VBS Executive Committee Thích Hạnh Lạc, Committee members, about 200 delegates representing 70 Buddhist establishments in the city, and representatives from the district Buddhist Executive Committee of Binh Son, Son Tinh, Tu Nghia, Mo Duc, Duc Pho and Ly Son.

Local guests to the Congress included representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, provincial Police, and local authorities of Quang Ngai provincial city and Tran Phu ward.

The congress approved the 6^th term activities report and plans for 7^th term 2014 – 2019, and elected 19 members to the Executive Committee for the 7^th tenure, in which five members were re-elected.    

New Quang Ngai provincial city VBS Executive Committee makes its debut.

Accordingly, the 7^th term Quang Ngai provincial city VBS Executive Committee consists of one chairman, currently assumed by Venerable Thích Thông Hội, two vice chairmen, one secretary, one deputy secretary and 14 commissioners.
