Buddhist dignitaries and followers of Pho Hien pagoda and Ngoc Co monastery paid a charity visit to Ve ethnic people in Dpring and ChaVal communes, Nam Giang district on December 1.
During the program, Nun Thích Nữ Hạnh Tâm, Chairman of Da Nang provincial Buddhist Economic and Financial Board and monks and nuns of Pho Hien pagoda and Ngoc Xa monastery presented 300 gift boxes to Ve ethnic minorities.
Each charity box containing rice, instant noodles, blankets… was handed over to people under special difficulties in the locality. The total value of this charity program was over 120 million VND.
