Attending the ceremony were Mr. Phan Thọ, Deputy Director of the Home Affairs Department, Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial Committee for Religious Affairs; representatives from local authorities in Tam Ky city and Tan Thanh ward; Most Venerable Thích Thiện Duyên, member of the VBS Discernment Council, Vice Chairman of the VBS Executive Council, Head of Quang Nam provincial VBS Executive Committee, monks from the Standing Board of the provincial VBS Executive Committee, abbots of pagodas and more than 120 monks and nuns.

At the ceremony, the dignitaries, abbots, monks and nuns heard reports on study results of monks and nuns in the past 3 years. On this occasion, the Buddhist college announced its decision on new personnel of Buddhist college including Venerable Thích Huệ Hạnh, abbot of Hưng Long pagoda (Tam Xuan 1) as Vice Rector; Venerable Thích Mạnh Pháp from Bao Minh pagoda (Hoa Thuan ward, Tam Ky city) as Chief of the office of Quang Nam Buddhist college.

The ceremony was concluded in an excitement atmosphere, with good wishes to a new school year by representatives from provincial authorities, the provincial Executive Committee’s dignitaries and Buddhist monks and nuns in the province.
