Pure-land Lay Buddhist Association in Ben Tre holds 63rd death anniversary of Patriarch Minh Trí

The Executive Board of the Pure-land Lay Buddhist Association in Ben Tre province held on September 29 a ceremony to commemorate the 63rd death anniversary of Patriarch Minh Trí, Founder of the Pure-land Lay Buddhist Association at Hung Quang temple located in An Hoi ward, Ben Tre city.
During the event, Head of the provincial Association’s Executive Board Châu Thị Thu together with other members offered incense to Patriarch Minh Trí, recalled great contributions of the founder of the Buddhist sect to the development of the lay Buddhist association, and performed Buddhist chanting to pray for peace and happiness.
This year, due to the ongoing complicated context of Covid-19 pandemic in the province, religious practices in the province are still restricted.
