Hung Dien temple under the Pure-Land Buddhist Association located in An Giang province’s Cho Moi district held on April 21 the general meeting for the 2018 – 2023 tenure.
The event saw the attendance of Vice Chairman of the provincial Executive Committee of the Pure-Land Buddhist Association Trần Thành Tuấn, representatives from local authorities and 50 delegates representing members and followers of the Buddhist association in Cho Moi district.
The meeting discussed results of social-religious activities of the district executive board of the association during the past term as well as elected six members to the board for the 2018 – 2023 tenure with Mrs. Tăng Thị Ái Huê reappointed as Head of the executive board.
On the occasion, the district People’s Committee presented certificates of merit to the Buddhist association chapter and four members for their outstanding contributions in charitable activities in the 2013-2018 period.
