New Protestant superintendents have been appointed in churches under the General Confederation of Evangelical Churches (South) (ECVN) in provinces of Khanh Hoa and Ben Tre.
In Khanh Hoa province, Pastor Nguyễn Đồng Minh of Vinh Phươc church and Pastor Huỳnh Hữu Nghĩa of Dien Khanh church were promoted as new superintendents of the respective churches at a ceremony was held on Dec. 30-31.
Meanwhile in Ben Tre province, Pastor Huỳnh Tấn Sĩ was appointed as the new superintendent of Binh Dai Protestant church at a ceremony held on Jan. 2.
Ceremonies took place in solemn atmosphere with full religious rituals and in presence of dignitaries of the ECVN, members of the Protestant Representative Committee in provinces of Khanh Hoa and Ben Tre, local authorities’ representatives and Protestant followers in the localities.
