Priest Paul Nguyễn Văn Đức in Ha Tinh joins hand in Covid-19 prevention work

Dignitaries and parishioners in Ha Tinh diocese have donated about 500 million VND to the Covid-19 prevention work over the past days.

Amongst them, a number of Catholic dignitaries have launched many practical charity activities. Especially, Priest Paul Nguyễn Văn Đức, Head of Kim Son parish located in Ky Anh district’s Ky Khang commune has accompanied with the district authorities in the epidemic prevention work, and presented supplies supporting to local disadvantaged people in the locality.

According to the Front Working Committee under Ky Anh district authorities, the priest has come five times to hand over gifts, necessities and over 30 million VND in cash to medical centers and isolation areas in Ky Anh district.

Especially, Priest Paul Nguyễn Văn Đức also called on the Pastoral Council and parishioners of Kim Son parish to cook 200 meals for the medical force and Covid-19 patients being treated at the Ky Anh district medical center.

Ky Anh district currently has 24 patients being treated for Covid-19 at the district medical center. Priest Paul Nguyễn Văn Đức had many activities to visit and encourage the Covid-19 patients, as well as guided parishioners to strictly implement the Covid-19 prevention measures in pastoral activities and religious practices.
