The district authorities of Quang Xuong in Thanh Hoa province has launched a plan for preservation and promotion of tangible and intangible values of cultural heritages in the district for 2021-2030 period.
Quang Xuong is currently home to 38 relic sites, including three national relic sites and 31 historical-cultural relics.
According to the plan, the district authorities have assigned its communes to develop specific plans for the preservation and promotion of tangible and intangible values of historical-cultural relic sites situated in these communes, including the assessment of current maintenance of these relics.
Quang Xuong district has also collaborated with the provincial center for preservation of heritages of Thanh Hoa to survey current status of existing heritages in order to develop a specific plan for the preservation and promotion of tangible and intangible values of each historical-cultural relic site.
As reported, by September 2021, there have been nine relic sites upgraded and renovated, including Mau Xuong Pagoda located in Quynh Luu Commune (with the investment of 5 billion VND) and No Pagoda in Quang Ngoc Commune (with the investment of 25 billion VND).
