The Vietnam Buddhist Institute’s branch in Hanoi of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha held the entrance examination for its 8th bachelor Buddhist course (2018-2020) on April 3.
Registered to taking the course exam were 416 Buddhist monks and nuns from provinces and cities in the country.
Monks and nuns taking the examination
The participating monks and nuns of the exam took three tests in basic Buddhist dharma, Buddhist literature – history and foreign languages.
The exam was organized under the supervision of a council set up by the Buddhist institute headed by Dr. Senior Venerable Thích Thanh Quyết, Vice President of the Vietnam Buddhist SAngha’s central Executive Council.
