Four charity houses was handed over to poor families in Khanh Thien commune on November 20 by Venerable Thích Thanh Điện, Deputy General Secretary of the Central Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) cum Chairman of the Lao Cai provincial VBS Executive Committee.
The presentation of these houses took place at the Cultural House of Tay Phu village, Khanh Thien commune, Yen Khanh district. On this occasion, Venerable Thích Thanh Điện also presented 80 million VND to the local authorities for supporting the building of the local library and Tay Phu Culture House.
