In Lam Dong province, several evangelists in districts of Don Duong, Dam Rong and Da Huoai were appointed as new superintendents of local churches in November.
A ceremony to appoint superintendents of Ma Danh and K’Rai II churches was held in Don Duong district on Nov. 25. Two newly appointed superintendents were Evangelist Tou Prong Chiến of Ma Danh Church and Evangelist Ya Bai of K’ Rai II Church. The ceremony was chaired by Pastor Ha Hăck and attended by 1,000 people.
In Dam Rong district, Evangelist Ha Sung was appointed as the new superintendent of Meka Church on Nov. 27 with the participation of about 350 people.
Also in November, Evangelist K’Luân was appointed the new superintendent of Da Bri Church in Da Huoai district at a ceremony held on 28.
In Kien Giang province, Commissioned pastor Hoàng Thiên Tứ was appointed as the new superintendent of Thanh Loc Church in Giong Rieng district on Nov. 28.
Attending the ceremony were Pastor Lê Hoàng Phúc, Member of the General Confederation of Evangelical Churches of Vietnam (Southern), Pastor Nguyễn Văn Ơn, Head of Kien Giang provincial Representative Committee, representatives from authority of Giong Rieng district and Thanh Loc commune and 250 people in the locality.
