Son Phu congregation (Southern) under Ben Tre evangelical Church located in Son Phu commune of Ben Tre province’s Giong Tom district was formally established at a ceremony on April 23.
Attending the event included Pastor Phan Vĩnh Cự, Vice President of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South), Pastor Trần Thanh Dũng, Member of the ECVN in charge of pastoral affairs in Ben Tre, and about 200 members of the ECVN’s in the province.
As reported, Son Phu evangelical congregation was recognized by Son Phu commune authorities in January this year, and is currently managed and led by Pastor Phan Thế Lữ, Head of Ben Tre Church. The chapter currently has over 100 members. This is the 20th evangelical congregation recognized in Ben Tre province.
