Duc Nghia Caodai parish under the Tay Ninh Caodai Church located in Duc Nghia ward, Binh Thuan province’s Phan Thiet city held on April 30 the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of its new oratory.
Present at the event included Bishop Chairman of the Representative Committee of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Binh Thuan Thượng Bằng Thanh, representatives of concerning provincial and local authorities, and about 300 members of the Caodai sect in the province.
Duc Ngia Caodai parish was established in 1960. The parish’s oratory and Divine Goddess Temple have deteriorated after a long time of existence, and no longer met the need of religious practices of increasing Caodai followers in the locality. The reconstruction of the parish’s Divine Goddess Temple was started in 2017 and completed after two years of work.
Duc Nghia Caodai parish’s management board has also got the approval from local authorities for rebuilding its oratory according to a design model of the Caodai church.
