Thuan Chau pagoda in Da Nang’s Hai Chau district was solemnly inaugurated at a ceremony held on March 5.
Buddhist dignitaries attending this event were Most Venerable Thích Như Thọ, Member of the city Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Discernment Council, members of the city VBS Executive Board, heads of pagodas, monasteries and a large number of Buddhists in the city.
Guests at the ceremony included Chairman of the city Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Khôi and representatives from local authorities.
Accrording to Venerable Abbot of Thuan Chau pagoda Thích Khánh Chơn, the pagoda has been basically completed after more than four years of construction with a total cost of nearly VND 8.5 billion.
