The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in Tra Vinh province held on November 1 a ceremony for the formal establishment of Van Hung pagoda located in Duyen Hai provincial city’s Hiep Hanh commune of the province.
The establishment of the pagoda was approved by provincial authorities on February 25, 2021.
The establishment of Van Hung pagoda with 2,200 square meters of land donated by Ms. Nguyễn Thị Nguyên and Mr. Phạm Quốc Tuấn would practically contribute to meet Buddhist studies and practices of local people.
