Muslims in Ho Chi Minh city celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s birthday

The Muslim community in Ho Chi Minh city (HCMC) held Maulid festival to celebrate Nabi Muhammed’s birthday in Rahim Mosque on January 3.

Attending the ceremony were representatives from the HCMC Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, Ethnic Affairs Committee, Religious Affairs Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Indonesian Consulate in HCMC, and Muslim followers in the locality.

At the ceremony, the Representative Committee of the Muslim community in HCMC reviewed the life and career of Nabi Muhammad – founder of Islam and considered as a messenger of Allah.
