The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in Binh Dinh province’s Quy Nhon city held on June 22 a second program on voluntary blood donation for monks, nuns and lay Buddhists in the city.
As reported, the blood donation program obtained 64 units of blood and strictly observed the 5K recommendation of the Health Ministry by splitting blood donors into small groups with no more than 20 people at a same time.
The voluntary blood donation program was held ahead the 7th Congress of the VBS in Quy Nhon city for the term 2021-2026 to be convened when the Covid-19 pandemic situation is under control.
