Mennonite church chapter in Ho Chi Minh supports facemasks, rice to poor people

Responding to a call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF), for the supporting people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh city, Pastor Trần Văn Tịnh of Thu Duc chapter under Vietnam Mennonite Church on June 17 presented 5,000 facemasks and 500 kg rice to Thu Duc city’s Tam Binh ward authorities.

The support package, worth 10 million VND in total aimed to share with local people who are facing difficulties due to Covid-19 outbreak in the city.

Receiving support package, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Thu Duc  city’s Tam Binh ward Đồng Ngọc Hà took the chance to thank Thu Duc Mennonite chapter for its practical contribution support and pledged to send this contribution to local people who are affected by Covid-19 and forces directly involved in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in the city.
