On August 23rd, 2014, Medical Association of Hanoi Archdiocese visited and conducted health checks and distributed free medicines to Catholic and non-Catholic people in the Phong Y parish. Phong Y parish in Thanh Hoa diocese covers five most remote and mountainous districts with over five thousand followers, including many ethnic minorities of Kinh, Muong, H 'Mông, Thai peoples...
Medical Association of Hanoi Archdiocese consists of 19 members and operates with the spirit of "A good doctor is like an affectionate mother". At Phong Y parish, Medical Association of Hanoi archdiocese conducted health checks and distributed free medicines to 334 patients who are unable go to the hospital.
