Long Tri Caodai parish solemnly inaugurated its new oratory at a ceremony held in Chau Thanh district, Long An province on March 12.
Attending the ceremony were Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh, President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church, representatives from local authorities of Chau Thanh district, Tam Vu town and Long Tri commune, and about 1,000 followers of Caodaism inside and outside the locality.
Long Tri parish was established in 1936 and built its worshipping facility by temporary materials. In 1996, the oratory was upgraded with concrete, but without worshipping facilities for the Spiritual Body and Legislative Body.
The worshipping buildings for the Spiritual Body and the Legislative Body was started in March, 2013 and completed after two years of construction.
