Lien Hoa pagoda was solemnly honored as a cultural worshipping place at a ceremony held on Oct 27 at the pagoda in Tien Giang province’s Go Cong Dong district.
Attending the ceremony included Vice Chairman of provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Văn Khuê, Venerable Thích Bửu Hòa, Head of the Executive Board of the VBS Chapter in Go Cong Dong district and large numbers of representatives of local authorities and Buddhist followers in the district.
Lien Hoa pagoda was founded in 1962. The pagoda has actively participated in the campaign “All people unite to build cultural life in residential areas” launched in 2016 by local authorities and met all standards for the title of the cultural worship facility.
