Keo Pagoda – Special National Relic in Thai Binh province’s Vu Thu district opened its annual Autumn festival 2016 on October 10 or the 10th day of the 9th lunar month.
The festival is taking place with traditional ceremonies, such as Buddhist rituals, worship and precession of gods, and a wide range of cultural activities including a boat racing, a tug of war and other folks contests .
The festival commemorates the merits of Master Dương Không Lộ (1016-1094) and of those who helped to build Keo pagoda, a spiritual, cultural and religious site that has been recognized as a special national relic.
The festival will be open till October 15 or the 10th day of the 9th lunar month.
