A Kathina robes offering ceremony took place in Pho Minh Pagoda located in Ho Chi Minh City’s Go Vap district on November 12 after the three-month Buddhist Summer retreat course.
Attending the event included Most Venerable Vice President of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Central Executive Council cum Abbot of Pho Minh pagoda Thiện Tâm, Most Venerable Head of the VBS’s Executive Board in Go Vap district Thích Nhật Lang, Deputy Head of the VBS’s Subcommittee for Theravada Buddhism Hộ Chánh, and large numbers of Theravada monks and followers.

During the ceremony, Pho Minh pagoda and a Buddhist family presented VND 100 million to the foundation supporting the poor and education promotion in Go Vap district.
