On October 1st, 2014, at the Cathedral of Hung Hoa diocese (Trung Son Tram commune, Son Tay town, Hanoi city) a ceremony was held for conferring priesthood on 8 clergymen.
Attending the ceremony were Bishop Vũ Tất; Auxiliary Bishop Nguyễn Hữu Long; Bishop Chu Van Minh, Director of the Hanoi’s St. Joseph's Major Seminary; more than 100 priests and about 4,000 followers inside and outside the locality.
With this priesthood conferment, Hung Hoa diocese has a total of 84 priests, including 73 secular priests and 11 religious priests.
