The Hoa Hao Buddhist Church’s Executive Board in My Hiep commune of An Giang province’s Cho Moi district in collaboration with the commune Fatherland Front Committee held on June 26 a ceremony for handing over two charity houses to disadvantaged families in the locality.
Each charity house had an area of 40m2 and the investment of 50 million VND, donated by the Hoa Hao Buddhist executive board and followers in the locality.
During the event, each disadvantaged family also received an electric fan with the value of 250 thousand VND.
