The Hoa Hao Buddhist Church’s Executive Board in Cho Moi district’s Long Dien B commune of An Giang province has handed over five charitable houses to disadvantaged families in the locality.
Five charitable houses, each built on areas from 32 to 40 square meters with a structure of the corrugated steel roof and bulkhead, galvanized iron frames and ceramic tile floors, are valued at 220 million VND in total, which have been contributed by the Hoa Hao Buddhist church in the commune and local people.
During the ceremonies, sponsors presented 20 kilograms of rice and household electrical appliances to disadvantaged families.
