Hoa Hao Buddhist’s executive board in An Giang presents supports to people affected by Covid-19 pandemic

The Executive Board of Hoa Hao Buddhism in Tan Hoa commune and Cho Vam town of An Giang province’s Phu Tan district presented 270 sets of supports to disadvantaged households undertaking self-isolation at their homes.
Each set of supplies includes ten kilograms of rice and other necessities, and the total support package is valued at nearly 70 million VND, which has been contributed by Hoa Hao Buddhists and other donors.
As reported, this program is part of a implementation plan of the security and social welfare coordination model between the Hoa Hao Buddhist executive board and the local public security for helping disadvantaged people badly affected by Covid-19 pandemic.
